The main characters

Characters	Description
	Konata Izumi the main character of lucky star is a small athletic 17 year old girl. Even though Konata seems to be very good at sports she chooses not to like them for the fact that "Sports make me tired" Otherwise Konata could be classified as an otaku which is a super geek who loves to play video games, read manga, and watch anime. Konata is big into MMO's (masive multiplayer online game), and sim dating games. (which in japan are games made for adults where you start off as a male character and roam around trying to date girls while achieving goals in the process) Konata like most Otaku's in japan enjoy spending all there money on rare limited edition mangas and other things that relate. Otherwise she's lazy and would rather play games then do homework, then copy off Kogami later before the break ends.
	Kogmai Hiiragi is one of the main characters and in my oppinion the second main character. She is a smart 17 year old girl who spends alot of time doing homework and studying. Kogami is the older twin sister to Tsukasa and Kogami feels that it is her duty to keep ahead of Tsukasa for that reason. While hanging out with the gang Kogami takes on the role of the responsible one and makes sure their desicions are smart ones, also Kogami enjoys making sly remarks to what Konata sais but usually it backfires and Konata wins the fight. Kogami is in the other class in accordance with the other three characters and she always hopes that she will be in their class in the next year, Konata's reply to this is "You can't be in our class! If you were I wouldn't be able to copy all your anwsers!"
	Tsukasa Hiiragi the cute ditsy one of the group is also a 17 year old girl who enjoys thinking about random things that come into her head. Tsukasa is probably the dumbest character in the group but still plays a sweet sincere role when being with the others. Tsukasa like Konata isn't very good in school for the same reason (she's lazy) except usually her mind just runs off or she falls alseep which tells us the reason why she coppies the homework off her sister with Konata. Tsukasa enjoys alot of things that the average prep would but she never descides to make friends outside of the group. Konata came into the group by helpping Tsukasa with a guy who was bothering her which makes Tsukasa A main part of the story, her and konata have some interesting convorstaions with eachother (what side of a cornnut is the head?)...
	Miyuki Takara another 17 year old girl who is extremly smart and is the groups source of random information. She is cute, smart, and well mannered then the question comes up "is she perfect in every way?" (by Konata) No, according to Miyuki she is very clumsy, as an example, running into lamp posts, tripping over her feet, and getting her bag stuck in the train doors as she enters. Miyuki surprisingly knows extreme ammounts of random information which helps alot with Konata and Tsukasa's problems, when they don'y know what something is "it's Miyuki to the rescue!" Even though Miyuki is a main character she spends alot of time at home and appears every now and then in the story (usually when they are at school or are going to a festival). She is definatly not the main character but she makes an impact on everyone with her all loving heart.
